Negative of CeDell Davis plays guitar in an unidentified house with an unidentifed man watching taken from the book "Blues Music in Arkansas" by Louis Guida, Lorenzo Thomas, and Cheryl Cohen (1982). CeDell Davis was born June 9, 1927 in Helena, Phillips County, Arkansas. At the age of 10, he survived a bout with polio which left him with a crippled right hand. He learned to play a left-handed bottleneck style guitar and played locally in Arkansas in the 1950s and 60s with Robert Nighthawk, Big Joe Williams, and Charlie Jordan.
